I plan to paint the original of the other pose just because I think it's so perfect!  :)

This last one was also fun to paint.  It just proves that even snapshots can be beautiful pieces of artwork if you care enough to invest in it.  :)  This was done for a colleague's daughter and son in law.

]]> Painting on a Purse tag:www.paintingsbystacey.com,2009:/paintings-by-stacey//1.16 2009-01-09T05:30:09Z 2009-01-09T05:33:28Z Paintings by Stacey This was my Christmas present to myself.  I just received it today and was speechless when I pulled it out of the box.  It turned out MUCH better than I imagined it would.  This is the Bags by Babycakes Jeni Coco.  I ordered it in chocolate Italian Leather with the Lustre Satin.  It's truly amazing, this image does not do it justice.  It's very upscale and rich feeling.  I recommend this company for bags anyday!  :)

It was great meeting him, he's a very charming, down to earth guy.  But, I'm such a Days' fan that it was such an awesome experience for me!  :)

Here's the pics I got.  My daughter, mom and sister in law were there as well, but this is MY blog.  :D I look so goofy!

A new scenic oil painting on linen canvas. I got this image from my new apartment complex, Villas at Huffmeister. It is the little gardens by the unit doors. I thought it would make a beautiful scenic painting.rockgarden.jpg

Painted in Corel Painter using Den's Funky Chunky and Oil Luscious, and blended with the oily blender.

I also added a touch of Lucis Art sculpture to make the brushwork pop, then added an irish linen texture to it.

It was first painted in Corel Painter, then finished off in Photoshop tweaking colors and blending with textures found on the web.
