Communication
In commissioning me for this service, constant contact is vital. I will try to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the painting. I will keep you informed of progress, and you are welcome to contact me anytime to check up on anything. Contact can be by email, phone, or messenger services. All of this info is listed below for your records. The painting process begins with a conversation of what you are looking for. Are you looking for an oil painting, a Watercolor effect? Communication is very important to determine what you and your client want.
Image
Full payment is due for me to begin working on your image. This payment is not refundable. You will then need to submit your image. You may submit your image via email in a zipped format, you may mail a CD to me (address is listed below), or you may FTP your image. Please e-mail for details on FTP uploads. Images need to be as un-retouched as possible. Please contact me to discuss this, as this is extremely important! Accepted formats are 8x10 JPEG @ 250dpi, 8x10 TIFF @ 250dpi or 8X10 PSD @ 250dpi.
Painting
I will then proceed to paint your image to your specifications as previously discussed in our first contact. I will also evaluate your image and paint a version as I would see it. When the painting is finished, I will set up an online proofing gallery that is private here on the site. Professional photographers need to have your client available to view the painting before committing to it.
Printing
If you have chosen printing services, printing will be started. Please allow at least 4 to 6 weeks for your painting to be printed and shipped to you, though typically it takes less than 4 weeks.
Delivery
If you did not choose printing services, your painting will be delivered either via FTP for you to download, emailed to you in zipped format, or on CD to be mailed to you.
